The weather report from the day before already had me alarmed. Heavy storms had been predicted and last year we lost power for a full three days. After that happened I bought two new portable generators for sale to be certain that if it ever happened again we would be prepared. Problem was, I couldn’t recall where I had put them and the storm was already on us.

I have got to locate the portable generator. Everyone head to the bottom floor, I’ll be right there, as soon as I find it and get it going. Ok sweety, please go fast. (kisses for everyone) Jogging towards the garage I could feel the tornado going this way. Off in the sky line, black and purple, strange reds and greens twirling together. It was right after three in the afternoon and it was virtually pitch black outside.

I scurried through the thing that was spread out everywhere, mumbling under my breath about how I should keep a cleaner garage. All I could think was, please protect my family. Ah there it is,the portable generator. Now where is the gas can, I know it’s not empty, I just filled it Sunday, and I haven’t used it since then. Oh wait the machine should be full. Yes it is.

Great! okay, now pull the cord, and plug this power strip into it and we should be done. This electric portable power generator is great, I am so happy I finally got this thing. (It roars to life) Ok, plug this in. Whala! Ok, where is the big house plug? There it is. Plug it in. Yes! Alright then, back to the family!
