The TomTom ONE XL-S features a wide screen 4.3-inch display, with 480×272 resolution, that gives you a better view of the road. This GPS has text-to-speech directional ability. This makes navigation much more convenient.  This GPS can read you the name of streets along with many other directions. One unique feature in TomTom GPS units is the Map Share services. Map Share lets you to download from the TomTom website maps updated constantly by the TomTom community of users.  It has partial Bluetooth functionality. The Bluetooth feature is there not for hands free calling but primarily to serve as a channel for delivering optional services, including weather data and real-time traffic updates.

The TomTom ONE 140S has navigation characteristics as one of the main strengths with accuracy far more superior than the older models. The IQ Routes and Map Share features work well in enhancing the navigation experience. Advanced features include the advanced lane guidance which has the lane information highlighted to allow better route planning and bigger risk reductions in making the wrong turn. Fuel prices can be downloaded on demand which can be of great help to budget conscious drivers finding the best nearby gasoline station. The TomTom ONE 140S is a tiny and portable GPS device with plenty of power packed inside.

The TomTom XL 340S is an entry level GPS device whereby the setup was made really simple allowing you to use it right away after it is unboxed. The main menu is quite straightforward with some meaningful icons leading to the most important features. There is the advanced lane guidance feature that functions very well in highways where certain exits need to be made. With the Text-To-Speech feature, drivers can concentrate on their driving. The maps are adequate, but should be updated immediately via downloadable content to get any missing signs.  This GPS has the ability to download fuel prices so you can find the nearest gas station that saves you the most money.
